Tournament Codes Listing:
LL - Local League
HL - House League.
SL - Select - Top House League Players from a division assembled into a tournament only Select Team.
MD - Minor Development and DD - Development levels
AE - Alternate Entry
A - Town REP

White and Blue Level teams - LL and HL tournaments will possibly accept you but be aware that the competition may be strong and challenging for MOHA Minor level teams.  Surrounding leagues normally have both Minor and Major aged players together in their divisions. i.e There will be a Novice division tournament offered which would have both Minor Novice and Novice aged players on a single team - they may also be made up of all Levels of player skills as well.

MOHA's former RED level - Now MD - will not be accepted as HL RED by most surrounding centers and would be required to play a NonContact game if accepted. In the Past our Teams would be accepted into Select, MD/DD Tournaments. We have also been accepted to play in AE and A tournaments where MOHA REP team(s) were not already registered.

No matter what Tournament you are considering - Your Team has to be Rostered through the MOHA Hockey Office and the OMHA.

NCCP and CHIP training and certification

The NCCP and CHIP Coaching Programs offered by the OMHA are designed to provide volunteer coaches with the tools necessary to improve athlete development. Whether it is certifications programs, specialty clinics, mentorship or high performance, ultimately the goal is to provide the player with the best possible experience. Coaches are encouraged to continually hone and build on their current skills by taking an NCCP certification course, Coach Refresher Clinic, finding a Coach Mentor, or taking specialty courses within their local association.

Team Rostering

All teams are required to be Rostered with the OMHA using the moha-hl-team-roster-application that must be completed and returned to the MOHA hockey offices.
