Relocating your belongings, purchasing or renting new housing, arranging for schools ... the whole moving process to a new city is full of headaches. Registering to play hockey in Oakville will be just as challenging and can be full of obstacles if you are not familiar with the process. Hockey Canada, the OHF and the OMHA all have rules about transferring a player  from one hockey organization to another. TF01 New To Hockey in Oakville

Once you have familiarized youself with the basic rules and regulations, you can download one of the Transfer Packages below which will provide all of the forms that you need to initiate your transfer application to the MOHA. Keep in mind that it will take some time to gather this information, so PLAN EARLY!

It is also important that the information you provide be accurate, that you follow the rules and that you submit your transfer application as one complete package. By doing this you will have the best chance of expediting the process.

Please note that Rep players may also need the following forms in addition to the transfer package ...

  • An Intent To Move [ prior to the transfer application process ]
  • A Permission To Skate from their previous hockey organization [ prior to and for MOHA Rep tryouts ]
  • A Release from their previous hockey organization [prior to joining a MOHA Rep team if selected ]
