Team Captains and Coordinators Needed
Needed Team Captains for Awards week for the following Divisions:
Tyke
Minor Atom
Minor Peewee
Minor Bantam
Bantam
Minor Midget
This is a great way to volunteer if you only have a limited time to volunteer and Tyke through Minor Bantam games are on the weekend too. Time commitment prior to the Awards Week is probably 2-3 hours and then you just have to be at the games ahead of time and stay for all of the games to ensure things run smoothly.
We are also looking for a coordinator for the teenage volunteers and a coordinator for the food drive.
If you can volunteer please contact Adele Arsenault at aarsenault14@cogeco.ca or 905-469-9565.

Alex Pace Community Service Memorial Award
In February of 2009, we lost a young hockey player named Alex Pace. Alex fought a dignified and determined 2 year battle with cancer. He showed all who came to know him how to maintain grace in the face of the most difficult of times; that kindness, selflessness and wisdom can shine through the darkest of days.
In memory of Alex, annually there is a community service award presented to an individual or team that demonstrates a commitment of service to the larger community, and represents Alex’s dreams to help, care for, and support each other especially during a time of need.
The Alex Pace Community Service Memorial Award is open to all MOHA individuals and teams at both house league and rep levels. Written submissions explaining the reasons why the individual or team should receive this award can be sent to Adele Arsenault, MOHA Awards Week Coordinator, at aarsenault14@cogeco.ca . Deadline for submissions is Friday, March 12, 2010.
